Does pure honey ever expire or spoil?

Pure honey is highly shelf-stable and may remain usable well beyond a best-by date if sealed, dry, and uncontaminated. Crystallization is normal; introduced moisture can permit fermentation. Never give honey to an infant younger than one year.
